German artist renowned for his experimental oeuvre rooted in the history of art

Museum exhibitions include Günther Förg: A Fragile Beauty at Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (2018), travelled to Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas TX (2018); Förg in Venice, at Palazzo Contarini Polignac, 58th Venice Biennale, Venice, Italy (2019); and most recently, Günther Förg: Trunk Road and Branch Roads at the Long Museum West Bund, Shanghai (2023), the artist's first insitutional exhibition in Asia and most comprehensive presentation to date bringing together many major works created throughout his career.
